Each commission is an all-inclusive production:

A 50% non-refundable retainer reserves your calendar placement and initiates pre-production upon contract execution. The remaining 50% balance is due upon final study inspection prior to shipping. Travel for non-local shoots (airfare and lodging) is billed directly into the initial retainer. Archival framing and custom moulding are available upon completion and quoted separately.
The 5-Stage Commission Process
1. DISCOVERY & INTAKE
Complete the commission application below. We will convene for a 30-minute consultation to align on conceptual themes, scale, and timeline.
2. CONTRACT & RESERVATION
Upon mutual approval, we execute a standard commission agreement defining scope, and delivery milestones. A 50% booking retainer secures your studio calendar slot.
3. CREATIVE DIRECTION & PRODUCTION
We conduct a curated moodboard and wardrobe consultation, followed by a dedicated lighting and portrait shoot with professional hair and makeup artistry on set. Together, we select the master reference image.
4. MASTER EXECUTION & VALUE STUDIES
You review and approve a digital tonal study before pigment touches linen. The work is executed using archival oil pigments and layered glazing, accompanied by periodic studio progress reports.
4. INSPECTION, CRATING & DELIVERY
Following your final review and settlement of the remaining balance, the painting is custom-crated, insured, and shipped to your residence with an official Certificate of Authenticity.
Title vs. Copyright Terms:
Under standard fine art copyright protocols, the artist retains all statutory copyrights and moral rights to the artwork and preparatory studies. The collector acquires exclusive ownership of the physical original for private exhibition. Commercial exploitation, reproduction, or commercial merchandising is strictly prohibited without prior written licensing agreements.
